Mixed language dictionaries

I want to use a German keyboard layout, but write mainly in English, and secondarily in German. I want to have word suggestions and completions and corrections independent of the keyboard layout.

From what I can see, "Hell" does not suggest "Hello" to me, and I do not see language settings independent of keyboard layout, so I assume this is not currently supported?

In my opinion, the only solution is to use English as the main language, add German to the multilanguage section and customize the QWERTY layout.

If you don't know how to customize the layout, let me know and I'll provide you with the file.

I think you can resolve your query by following the steps below:

• In the Languages & Layouts setting, enable English and click on it;
• Add German in the Multilingual typing section;
• Click on the "+" icon to add a custom layout;
• Click on Copy existing layout and choose the file below that you will have saved beforehand

Ah, it was not obvious or indicative to me that I could also tab them to open more settings, and not just enable or disable them.

I was able to add EN to the DE language&layout as a multi-language.
