Sorry for the delay. There is no native support for shaded protobuf JARs. Assuming you have relocated protobuf-java classes from com.google.protobuf to something like shaded.xyz.com.google.protobuf, then you could try using the shade plugin to apply the same relocation to jackson-datatype-protobuf. Off the top of my head I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work
