MapBBCode desperately needs plugins for vBulletin. But it is a closed-source, closed-documentation (!) forum engine. Those are answers from the support team:

You would need a license to get access to the vBulletin code.
We do not offer any sort of development license, sorry.

The cheapest license costs $250. I don't know how they managed to collect their plugin library, and why vBulletin has monopolized the top 100 forum list. But in order to conquer the Internet, MapBBCode needs a vBulletin plugin. This is a long-term goal, and right now there isn't an obvious way to solve it, besides using the loader.

  • vBulletin 3.8 plugin
  • vBulletin 4.1 plugin

After that there is a long list of forums to promote the plugin:

  • velomania.ru
  • skyscrapercity.com
  • pirate4x4.com
  • forums.drom.ru
  • forum.gorod.dp.ua
