Using Visual Studio Community Edition 2017. VS2019 doesn't work either.
Please fix. Has never been resolved as far as I'm concerned.

Also, where can I find older versions of this extension?

I didn't persist old version. VSGallery also doesn't.
Maybe I can compile some old version and upload them to GitHub release page. Not sure whether they can be compiled using VS2019.

Please. I would truly appreciate it. I really love this extension and the fact that it doesn't function in VS2017 when it used to before saddens me. VS2019 always crashes with it.

I attempted a downgrade by configuring the manifest, but there might be changes to the codebase that don't support older versions of VS, I'm not sure, the error logs are not very verbose. Built and tested on vs2017

Thank you @Scrxtchy !
The downgrade version doesn't allow the images to get changed, but it would do for now.
Getting the program installed successfully was my issue and it works finally, despite the minor issue.
