When running plane:

$ rosrun giskard_examples whole_body_controller

one gets the error from the issue title.
Somehow the controller doesn't react to any goals and this might be the reason.

Thanks for reporting this. Which version of giskard did you run, and which goal did you send?

It's the latest version. No goals, just the command above.

When coming up, the whole_body_controller reads a bunch of controllers from the parameter server. It seems to have choked on parsing one of them. Can you reproduce the state of the parameter server when you ran the node?
