Here's an great article to consider as we design the navigation on the intranet, divide content between the intranet and the wiki, create mechanisms for cross-linking between them, and decide on a content governance model (i.e. who'll be responsible for maintaining what) and attempt a first content inventory.

This is great! The Implement Methods for Keeping Effective Content section in particular had great suggestions.
