Smooth scrolling

Currently as it is scrolling feels janky in my opinion it would be great if smooth scrolling was added, however I know many people who hate smooth scrolling so perhaps it should be a system configuration? I think web browsers implement smooth scrolling the best I personally like Microsoft Edge's custom implementation that's separate from the normal Chromium one, but Chrome is good too

It is especially noticeable on gaming mice that have stops between the scroll wheel to make it better for selecting in game items etc
