Exclude certain Tasks in Dataview?

I have a daily note that looks like

## Schedule
This should show up at the correct time block.
- [ ] 7:00 - 8:00 Do something. 
## Homework
I don't want any of these to show up in Dataview *at all*.
- [ ] Thing 1
- [ ] Thing 2
## Other To-Do
It would be nice for this one to show up as a generic task at the top of Dataview.
- [ ] Foo

I'd like to be able to exclude basically all of the tasks under Homework from showing up in Dataview, but keep everything within the other 2 headers. Is there some way to mark tasks to show up in Dataview?
