Never mind, when HDR is forced on, HDR content DOES display in HDR properly. The little tag on the file summary doesn't always consistently show up in general, so it's not a reliable indicator. Of course, leaving HDR always on isn't great because non-HDR content gets washed out colors. Using always off HDR is a better overall experience than always on HDR on the Hakopro box. As for the stretched content, that seems to be some kind of issue that the LibVLC player is having with this particular device, other players like the internal one or external players, work fine. |

I have a Hako Pro Android TV device which seems to support HDR always on or no HDR, however in either case it seems like Jellyfin doesn't detect the HDR support being present because it doesn't show up listed under my movies. Is there a way to force Jellyfin to know that HDR is supported?
Oh, also some of my movies are playing in a stretched to fullscreen zoom instead of having the expected black bars at the top and bottom....
