Now that Google Docs is starting to support markdown. Has there been any thought on adding support for the Google Docs flavor of markdown?
Of course, it's brand new and perhaps not everybody even has it enabled yet...
I'm attaching a file with an example (Google Docs File -> Download -> Markdown (.md)) and a screenshot with how it looks in Google Docs. The table of contents was generated in docs via Insert -> Table of Contents. Unfortunately, it uses a format like
## Chapter 1 {#chapter-1}
which goes completely sideways with an ugly error in my setup using next.js with remark-gfm.With the table, my setup does not honor cells with multi-line content as exported either. Assuming that is because it is not part of remark-gfm. I did not expect the "blue" to be honored and as expected the markdown does not contain anything in it. I'm sure there is a lot more to experiment with...
