Become a sponsor to Richard North
I'm Richard, a lifelong geek and programmer, original creator of the Testcontainers project and one of the core maintainers of testcontainers-java. It's a very successful project - way more than I ever hoped - with many, many people, teams and OSS projects using it around the world. Perhaps the reason that you're reading this page because my work on this or something else has benefited you somehow. I hope that is the case!
I'm also employed full-time at Skyscanner, and a father of two demanding kids 😉. My open source work is something that I only do because I get enjoyment out of helping my fellow developers. It's not always an easy balance to strike, but I try to do my best.
If you sponsor me, I'd consider it a personal thanks and encouragement for me to keep going with open source. I might even try and release more projects!
You'll also get a warm fuzzy feeling from knowing that you put a smile on my face - guaranteed! (the smile-on-face part, I can't actually make promises about the warm-fuzziness) 😊
P.S. if you only want to make a one-off donation, I'd still be grateful! You can cancel the sponsorship any time, so even one month's sponsorship will make a difference.
Thanks!
If you want to sponsor the Testcontainers project itself (for resources and logistics), please consider doing so via opencollective.com/testcontainers. Please also consider sponsoring my fellow maintainers!
